Hi, my name is Joris.

I'm a 19 year old nature photographer from Austria. I've always enjoyed nature and photography and now here I am, with my own website.

I got my first camera when I was 7, a small, waterproof Nikon. I took it almost everywhere I went, but unfortunately, I once forgot to close it properly and it basically drowned. A mistake that happend to more than enough cameras until I was 14.

During covid I started filming videos for my YouTube channel, and over the course of two years I upgraded my gear from a cheap Smartphone to a chep Camera, a Gimbal and a Drone.

When I was 17 years old, I got my first and current mirrorless Camera for Christmas, and to my 18th birthday I got my 150-600 mm Lens.

Since than I really got into nature photography and learned a lot about the right settings, the composition and about photography in general.

As my shots kept getting better, I started travelling purely for photography, which will hopefully get me to Iceland next summer.
